About John Salibello Antiques
The success of John Salibello Antiques can be attributed to the style, talent, and ambition of its founder. In 1988, after two successful careers in the fashion industry, John Salibello fulfilled his life-long passion for antiques by opening his first shop in Bridgehampton, Long Island. Here, decorative items that ignited John's imagination were sold. As the shop's inventory grew, so too grew it's reputation. The demand for private consultations quickly led to what is now the design side of John Salibello's business.
John Salibello Antiques expanded to Manhattan's Upper Eastside Antique District in 1992. Number 229 East 60th Street is where clients can find traditional antiques mixed with fine porcelains, exquisite lighting, and outdoor garden accessories. The newest and recently expanded third shop, Number 211 East 60th Street , focuses on 20th Century design along with a unique inventory of decorative antiques.
Today, John Salibello Antiques is a major resource for interior design professionals as well as for independent patrons who prefer to source for themselves. John's interior design accomplishments have gone beyond residential to include some of New York Cities' most popular nightspots.
